When to use it
Use this survey once people have used your product enough to judge it, often after two or more uses. The main question, “How would you feel if you could no longer use the product?”, is widely used as a product-market fit signal.
Make it your own
- Use your product name. Replace “the product” with what you call it.
- Only ask active users. Send it to people who have used the product recently, not everyone on your list.
- Keep the main question as it is. Its wording makes your results comparable over time.
Put the answers to work
Count the share of people who answer “Very disappointed”. Then read what they say about the main benefit and who it’s for, since that tells you who to build for next.
