A listener opens your public page in their browser. There is no app to install and no whatayarn account to create unless you have enabled the page’s sign-in requirement.
1. Record or upload
The listener starts a recording and allows microphone access when the browser asks. They tap to start and stop; they do not need to hold a button down. A timer shows the current recording length and the page’s limit.
Recording stops at the limit. The listener can also choose an existing audio file through the upload option. The app checks the file before moving on.
2. Review the audio
Before sending, the listener can play back their take. Re-recording replaces the audio. Reviewing is not the same as sending: the creator should only expect the message after the listener completes the send action.
3. Complete the form
The listener fills in the send form. Its fields and requirements depend on the page. Any required answers must be completed before sending.
Name and email can be remembered on the device for a later visit. A shared device may already contain someone else’s details, so listeners should check the values before sending.
4. Send and wait for confirmation
The listener sends the message and waits for the confirmation screen. A slow upload can take longer than expected; avoid closing the page while it is sending. If the app reports an error, follow the displayed instructions rather than assuming delivery succeeded.
After a successful send, the recording appears in the creator’s inbox. Depending on the page settings, the listener can send another message or continue to a redirect destination.

When recording will not start
Check Microphone troubleshooting. If recording is not possible on that device, the listener can try the upload option with an existing supported audio file.
Next action: Open your public link from Share in the app (opens in a new tab) and go through this flow yourself before inviting listeners.
