Open Messages (opens in a new tab) to review incoming recordings. The inbox keeps messages from your pages together so you can listen and decide what deserves a closer look.
Find a message
Use the inbox search and filters to narrow the list. A page filter is useful when you run more than one channel. Unread and bookmarked states help you distinguish new submissions from a shortlist you have already reviewed.
You can play audio from the list. Open a message to see its details in the adjacent panel without losing your place. Opening a message marks it as read.

Review the details
The message panel contains the recording, the sender details they provided, and the answers from your form. A missing name or email may simply mean the field was optional.
Previous and next controls let you move through messages. The inbox also supports j and k navigation when you are not typing into a field.
Bookmark and download
Bookmark a message you want to revisit. Use Download audio to save a recording for your own editing workflow. Downloading does not publish it or add it to your podcast automatically.
Select several messages to work in bulk. The bulk toolbar supports actions including read state, bookmarks, downloads, and deletion.
Review the sender’s answers and the expectations you set before using a contribution on your show. A bookmark is an organisational aid, not a permission record.
Delete carefully
Delete messages you no longer need and read the confirmation before proceeding. Save any audio you need elsewhere first. Deleting messages does not reset the Free plan’s lifetime message allowance.
Email notifications
New-message notifications can include an MP3 attachment and a link back to the message. Delivery also depends on email services, so the inbox is the place to check whether a submission arrived.
If you do not want notifications for a page, use its notification controls in the editor. Check spam or junk folders if expected email is missing.
Next action: Open a test message, bookmark it, and download its audio so you know how each step works before reviewing a real batch.
