Both plans include unlimited forms and unlimited responses. We want to keep it that way, so you never have to count. This policy explains what unlimited covers and what happens in the rare case an account uses far more than most.
What unlimited means
Make as many forms as you need and collect every response they get. There is no monthly response cap, no charge per response, and nothing switches off when a form takes off.
Unlimited is for one person or organisation collecting responses for its own forms. Please don’t share or resell one account across separate businesses.
What counts as very heavy use
Most accounts never come close. As a guide, we consider an account’s use very heavy when it regularly goes beyond:
- Responses: about 10,000 a month across all your forms.
- Email notifications: about 10,000 a month.
Regularly means three months or more in a row. A one-off spike, like a launch or a giveaway, is fine.
What happens if you get there
We will email you first. Nothing switches off automatically, and your forms keep collecting responses while we talk.
If your use stays very heavy, we will suggest a custom plan priced on your actual usage. If it doesn’t suit you, we will give you plenty of time to move and to download your responses and files.
Limits that fair use doesn’t change
A few limits are fixed for each plan and apply whatever your usage:
- Storage: 100 MB on Free and 50 GB on Creator, shared by files, recordings and form images across your account.
- Recording length: up to 1 minute on Free and 10 minutes on Creator for each voice answer.
- File size: up to 5 MB for each uploaded file.
To keep out spam and bots, we also limit how quickly responses can arrive from one network. If many people will answer from one shared device or Wi-Fi network, like a kiosk at an event, email us beforehand and we will help you plan for it.
The Free vs Creator guide covers each plan’s limits in more detail.
Misuse is different
Fair use is about volume. Misuse is never allowed at any volume. That includes forms that ask for passwords or payment card numbers, impersonate another person or brand, send spam, spread malware, or break the law. We may remove those forms and suspend the account straight away, as set out in our Terms of Service.
Planning something big?
If you expect a big burst of responses, like a national campaign or a high-traffic event, email hello@whatayarn.com and we will make sure it goes smoothly.
